I found a box in my attic labeled "Intel D955X BK For Intel Pentium Extreme Edition Processor" Any idea what this would be useful for?
Wrong discussion, go to processors.
It's a motherboard. I looked in the box. (It say Intel Desktop Board)
I don't really know about that. It could be a circuit unit for a computer, or something that Intel possibly distributed for keeps sake. Not that it's a processor, but still.
My Computer Specs:
Model: Acer Veriton X2631
CPU: Intel Core i5 (4440)
GPU: Intel HD Graphics 4600
RAM: 8 GB DDR3
HDD: 2.6 TB (Partitions total)
OS: Windows 10 Pro
Sound: Realtek High Definition Audio
guys, it's literally a motherboard. for socket LGA 775
