Best way to get modern Windows VMs.

So I found a little page on the Microsoft developer site, and they have a page for virtual machines. I personally tried them and they're really good. I say you give them a shot.

Seems great. I already downloaded the VM for Windows 7, since I miss using it so much. Especially when it's a pain in the neck on Windows 10 without Windows DVD Maker.

I miss Windows 7 as well. I'm glad I managed to find this as it makes it super easy to get VMs to test out stuff on.

This is a great and perhaps legal way to test out and download Windows 7 & Windows 10 for your virtual machine needs, although you cannot keep it forever. It says that it is a 90 day trial on the website...

If you have VMware or VirtualBox, create a snapshot of a clean install and then restore it when the trial is over.

I just installed the Windows 7 virtual machine on VMWare, and it works perfectly. Hopefully, I'll modify it tomorrow.

That's cool. I have a Windows 2000 virtual machine as well, but I only use it to play MIDI files.
