For those of you that are on XP or Vista and are concerned your going to get infected with WannaCry, Microsoft pushed put an security update for XP and Vista so you hopefully won't get infected with WannaCry.

Yes. I heard about the Wannacry Ransomware outbreak that has happened. No, I did not get hit by it. However, it is dangerous. It encrypts your files like normal ransomware. BUT, Wannacry is different. Wannacry can go through your network using an SMB exploit looking for new computers to infect and will send it's way over there and encrypt files to that vulnerable computer that has not gotten the SMB exploit patch released by Microsoft to Windows Update. More information on what SMB is here, on Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Server_Message_Block That is how WannaCry infected a hospital computer network in the United Kingdom, for example. Ouch.
