this is a good mod but it's just another one of many "Windows XP trying to be Longhorn" mods with forced software. i may come off as a hypocrite since Windows 2007 is literally Vista trying to be Beta 2 but who knows man

You could say Windows mods in general are kinda useless, given that most people aren't gonna use them in their day-to-day lives and would prefer to use current OSs. Most people would just use them on a VM for fun or maybe even on their nostalgia machines.

Hi everyone! I came here to announce that development on XP-C has stopped.

I've decided to stop work on it so far since it's pretty complete in its current state. There are a couple of new builds created by the discord community; they even have their own bootscreen! I'm really amazed by the passion people had for this project and it was a really fun time I had working on it.

The discord server has all of the builds I've been able to find (my hard drive had died recently), but I think I did a pretty good job with documenting the builds. If you want to talk to me my tag is Kimberly#1880

Thanks you all for interest in XP-C. I think I'm gonna start work on 7.1 real soon ;)
Can't wait, gl with 7.1

So I have just heard that today, the XP-C discord server is deleted and it may look like it's dead. Well, R.I.P.
