Windows ME in my opinion was just average. It was like one of those operating systems that were made for first-time users. I had ME back when I was very little, and I had my first computer memories with it. Needless to say, I didn't find it as great as any other Microsoft OS, as it was just a rebranded version of Windows 2000. The only difference was that ME had stability errors.

CPU: Intel Core i5 (4440)
GPU: Intel HD Graphics 4600
RAM: 8 GB DDR3
HDD: 2.6 TB (Partitions total)
OS: Windows 10 Pro
Sound: Realtek High Definition Audio

Here's what one of the build's startup screens look like.

It looks basic, but it's typical for a post-95 build.

If you see MJD's video here, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YWwjskmzbHk , Windows ME beta builds looked like Windows 98, before Windows ME was changed to have Windows 2000's look and feel. Then again, Windows ME was not Windows NT based. It was Windows 9x based, and was the last operating system in the Windows 9x series, and that Windows ME had high stability issues, making it a much hated operating system by Microsoft before Windows Vista RTM happened back in January 2007... ;)

Yeah, ME was like Vista before it existed. But even with that, it's only good for first-time users like I said. If you are really into Windows, then ME was never really the OS for you.

That's cool. I never installed beta operating systems, since I thought you had to do something differently with the installations.

I guess what I did was install Windows 98 first then upgrade to a beta build of Windows ME. That's normally how I do it.
