So, you want to start a YouTube channel but don't want to spend hundreds of you hard earned pesos on software? Well, you've come to the right place!
All the software here is the highest quality, free, libre and open source programs I know of. Plus, they work on all of the popular operating systems. Windows, Mac, Linux and most even work on BSD!
Enough chat, here are the goods:

Video editing - Kdenlive: https://kdenlive.org/

No longer just for Linux, the Kdenlive team now have a build for Windows too!
(MacOS version is available too but it's an older version and you need to use MacPorts. Easier to dual boot with Linux honestly)

Windows: http://files.kde.org/kdenlive/release/K ... .1-w64.zip (64 bit only)
Mac OS: https://old.kdenlive.org/download-mac
Linux: https://kdenlive.org/download/ (Should be available in your distro's repo)

Audio Editing/Recording - Audacity: http://www.audacityteam.org/

Even though you can do some audio editing in Kdenlive, it's nice to have a dedicated audio editor.
Helpful to get rid of noise and other stuff, not only is it available for the latest and greatest operating systems, it's also available for Windows 98 and MacOS 9.

Windows: http://www.audacityteam.org/download/windows/
Mac OS: http://www.audacityteam.org/download/mac/
Linux: Should be in your distro's repo

Image editing - GIMP: https://www.gimp.org/

Not quite Photoshop but a hell of a lot better than MS paint.
Great for creating the thumbnail and other images scattered throughout the video.

Windows/Mac OS: https://www.gimp.org/downloads/
Linux: Should be in your distro's repo

Screen/Audio recording - OBS: https://obsproject.com/

No more bandicam watermarks, time limits or obscure file formats (I'm looking at you, Camtasia).
Used by the pros with customisation to boot! Record your screen, your microphone, your face in the corner or whatever!

All downloads: https://obsproject.com/download

Have fun and YouTube responsibly!

note: was going to say that this is the first post in the lounge but some guy already made a thread about his favourite kind of cardboard...

Great stuff! I myself use a lot of these programs. They're very high quality, especially for the price :D

I personally use Paint.NET for my image editing, but the rest of the programs still seem really good. I use Paint.NET instead of GIMP as Paint.NET has a cleaner interface, and has less clutter, IMO

Nice kit as i say, but i use Paint.NET too! A lot easier to use, not messing around... And yea, back to Kit. With OBS i'll have a small problem, smooth, SMOOTHNESS is gone on my PC (while recording OBS, and other). But kit is good, for people that they want to make a YT channel.
