Fun things to do with a Raspberry Pi 3?

I'm planning on getting a Raspberry Pi 3 and I wanted to know some cool stuffs to do with it. Any ideas?

I've got the Pi 1 and have used it as a web and email server a couple of times. My favorite thing that I did with it is when I put RetroPie on it and made a vintage gaming "rig". You'd definitely be able to do that with the Pi 3, and it would be easier to set up with the built in Wi-Fi. The 32GB card that your kit comes with would be able to hold a ton of ROMs too.

Someday I had an idea to buy an RPi3 and honestly I wanted to make a little touch-screen computer with its own OS written in Python, something like a PDA :)

Thanks for the ideas! Here's my plan.

Run Kodi for entertainment
Raspbian for.... well, linux.
retropie for emulating
and having it as a portable system with a touchscreen.
