The Mysterious Box

I found a box in my attic labeled "Intel D955X BK For Intel Pentium Extreme Edition Processor" Any idea what this would be useful for?

It's a motherboard. I looked in the box. (It say Intel Desktop Board)

I don't really know about that. It could be a circuit unit for a computer, or something that Intel possibly distributed for keeps sake. Not that it's a processor, but still.

guys, it's literally a motherboard. for socket LGA 775
