Okay so hear me out on this one. My main laptop is a Dell Latitude D630 from 2006 and it has 4GB DDR2 ram, a 320GB HDD, Standard Intel graphics, and finally a Core 2 Duo T7500 @2.20Ghz running the latest version of Windows 10 Pro. I get a lot of comments at school about it being a dinosaur because it's fat, ugly, and old. However, this laptop outperforms almost all the other laptops they own despite theirs being several years newer and having i3 or i5 processors. To stop the hate against it's looks I completely took this thing apart and painted it white and replaced the dell logo with a pacman logo to make it look a little less old. My laptop boots and logs on in seconds (partly because the finger print scanner) when theirs takes almost a minute running Windows 10. It is very fast and runs almost everything I throw at it besides Premiere Pro (technically it will run it but not very well. Still fine for audio cuts). It makes me wonder if there is really any need to upgrade laptops if you don't edit videos or care about serious gaming on there. I use it for Photoshop and drawing software and it runs great.
But Can it run Crysis?

my little laptop is decent but its hdd is one a yanked from a dead laptop because I am a cheap o so its a bit slower to boot (it also has 4 oses on it so that adds a little time) but its boot is fine at about 1 min I need to either get a 1tb 7200rpm hdd or a 128gig ssd either way my laptop is a bit more powerful then a core 2 duo like yours (I have vms setup to act like your laptop) but I have to work on laptops like yours for work there not bad if a bit less powerful then a newer business class laptops like my laptop. I also don't care about the looks of my laptop much or what people think of my laptop (past will they think that its worth stealing?) so to hell with the people who think bulky and old looking laptops are not the best. :P

PS nice paint job.

Funny you mention the stealing part. Back in early 2015 My school bought me and 3 of my friends these brand new i3 toshiba laptops and donated a few junky computers (specifically 2 of these Dell Latitudes and 2 Dell Vostros laptops) to us as well to run our computer club. Not even 2 weeks later my house was broken into and they stole all my computers except the Latitude which I am using currently. That means they stole the computers that were under the Latitiudes. They purposely left the ugly but good ones. You can see them on the dresser to the right of the image.

The two Vostros were later found smashed in a freeway and the rest of our stuff was never found. This is probably why I like my Latitude so much. It really pulled through when I needed it to.

Ho gosh...
I remember having my old core 2 duo in an intel home motherboard thing in my rig
It ran really good, but it died....
And the inside of my rig at the time was all misch-mashed into place, cables everywhere.
But it's REALLY TOUGH the core 2 duo is a tank
I have 2 other core 2 duo laptops, first a mackbook pro mid 2010 wich i use for my djing and my old DELL INSPIRON 6000 wich i nicknamed the masturbator 1000 beacause the hard drive faps like a guy who's doing his business... Ha that laptop, re-installed 5 times windows on it (good old XP) and is still in relativly good shape! ( and wich i almost got stolen :D )

You could try web browsing on that, but nowadays it could be much too slow...
