Ultimate CPU Buyers guide!!

Post by MemeOS » Tue Apr 11, 2017 11:10 pm

Hey guys, its ya boi, MemeOS comin at you with an ultimate CPU buyers guide! i will be covering Budget, Workstation, Casual Gaming, Hardcore gaming, Video editing/3d modeling, Streaming! for both AMD and Intel
Budget:
If you want to do Budget Gaming: the Pentium G4560 or waiting for Ryzen 3 will definatley serve you well. although if you don't want to wait, an FX chip would work fine
Workstation
Workstations are potatoes. a celeron would work well. or a low end Athlon/FX
Casual gaming:
i3 7100, 7300, or a low end i5 is ok. for AMD, Ryzen 5 is a mirical drug. and will work amazing. though the Fx-6300 is ok.
But rule of thumb, NEVER. EVER. EVER PURCHASE THE 7350K its a big scam. wont outperform any I5
Hardcore gaming
the i5 7700k, i7 7700, and Ryzen 5-Ryzen 7 1700 work fine. i DO NOT recommend anything higher then the 7700k or 1700. it wont help your frames.
Video editing
i7, ryzen 7. splurging for a Xeon is a possibility, though. Would not recommend low end Ryzen 5 or any non K i5
Streaming:
With the extra cores needed, an i7 or 6 core ryzen 5 would have to need for good quality. or get a second PC.

The AMD FX-9590 would be for some of these because it can clock up to 5 GHz and it has 8 Cores,

Never heard of that cpu. i have a furnace also named FX-9590. also i have one named GTX 480. seriously though, the 9590 is crap. it kills Motherboards, its way to hot, and it cant even run total war. its really for virtualization and stuff
