Post by MemeOS » Sun Feb 26, 2017 8:37 pm

I believe that i have found the best Budget CPU Money Can buy!!!

Its the intel pentium G3258. Not Only is it strong at its base with 3.2 Ghz, its overclockable all the way up to a whopping 4.7 Gigahertz. thats some power there.

If you have anything that would fit that role better. let me know

the latest Pentium line has a few chips with hyper threading making them a better choice and they have a better igpu (not much better but better) here are the ones out with hyper threading they even stack up well vs the i3 in multi threaded programs but did worse then the oced pentium that you where looking at so if your going to be using programs that are only using cpu 1 go for the first if your going to be doing stuff that dose better with multicore performance (using all 4 logical cores) the dual core at up to 3.7ghz (if you go for the most expensive hyper threaded Pentium) you will do better but there both not bad choices but you can buy a cheaper mobo (non OCing mobos) and get lots of ram with DDR4 with the latest Pentium or use your old ram (if you have DDR3) and a more expensive mobo that allows you to oc the chip.
