Do you jailbreak/root?

I'm curious to know how many of you guys jailbreak or root your devices, especially with the new 10.2 jailbreak. Thanks! : )

I've had experiences with a jailbroken iPod Touch before, but I've never rooted an Android device.

I root because it allows me to use my device more like a computer, such as installing printer drivers so I can wirelessly print to my old LaserJet 4050N and 4000Tn as well as str drivers, windows emulation, controller support for ps controllers and usb drivers to allow mounting of more usb external storage types.

There is also the Xposed Framework which lets you do so many cool things, like customise YouTube and mess around on Snapchat.

TL:DR

Yes, I root it's good.
I have jailbroken but it always ends up to slow down or be detrimental to the iDevice's speed as well as buggy.

I don't see any real use to jailbreking. The only thing I used it for was to unlock an iPhone 1 and thats it

I'd be up for breaking my iPod Touch if I hadn't foolishly updated it past the point of no return. I don't root my Android devices anymore as they seem to become consistently slower after I do. Of course correlation doesn't equal causation, but it's happened enough times at this point that it's hard to ignore for me.
