Small Updates - 6/11/17

Hello everyone, Just made a couple minor updates to the forums. I've added a new "Member Introductions" forum where members can formally introduce themselves to the community. I've also moved the Off Topic chat into a new General Discussion category and placed it at the top of the forum list. The So...

Re: All-in-One

All in ones can be a pain to upgrade, except for the RAM. That can usually be pretty easy. Depending on how old it is, it might not be possible to upgrade it very far. What are the specs?

Re: Windows 10 help

It could be a spec issue. I've had trouble installing 10 on hardware that is about as old as that processor and it did the same thing- hung on the logo screen.

Re: WIN10 help 2!

That sounds odd to be happening with that hardware. Is this a fresh install of Win10?

Re: Speed up Windows 98

I have a Fujitsu Lifebook E330, and it is very slow. I know, it's a Windows 98 computer. But it's extremely slow, even for Windows 98. Is there a way I can get it sped up? I turned off that annoying active desktop, which helped, but it still takes 2 minutes to get the start menu to open. Should I c...

Does you still recommend the Windows all in one DVDs? @mjd7999
The keys for the installation were included on the CD but I just did not think to look there haha. I assume that they would work with the provided keys. Maybe another video idea? ;)

Re: Kindle Fire Rooting

Which Kinde Fire do you have? I had trouble rooting my Fire 7 inch because the newer firmware came preloaded on it which could not be rooted.

Re: Where is Windows Vista still being used Today?

This is a cool idea for a thread. It would be rare to see because of how many businesses stayed on XP even years after Vista was released, and after support ended. I'll be on the lookout, haha.

Re: My Great Thiftshop Find

Awesome find! Looks to be in great shape also, especially with the new battery that you mentioned. I assume that it's running Windows 98. Do you know if it's the original or the second edition?
