I'm curious to know if Windows XP Starter Edition would not have this problem on Virtualbox or if it's not reliable on a vir...

Re: How many of the rammies do you have?

I just got an Acer Predator Helios 300 laptop (Predator is Acer's gaming brand) and I upgraded it to 32GB of DDR4 RAM two days ago. So that's a crap load of RAM for one of my computers.

Re: OS for new retro gaming PC

I suggest maybe using Windows XP 64-bit Edition, since I don't think the other ones could accept a 64-bit processor. Plus, it might fit well into the type of hardware you're using.

Re: Office 2000 + Windows 98 = ?

I ran Windows 98 with Office 2000 on a VM before and it worked fine. I typed a document on it and the application felt the same.

Re: Where is Windows Vista still being used Today?

And then upgrade to windows 10 or whatever is the latest os then probably Windows 11 or 12 or something whatever is the latest Windows OS in the future. Or maybe they'll have Windows Neon or whatever, since it's not like Microsoft would think of newer Windows versions soon. How did you think of a n...

Re: Where is Windows Vista still being used Today?

My school has like 2 Vista machines in the back of a classroom but they only get used when someone needs to print. However it's only a matter of time before those last ones get replaced with iMacs like all the other computers at this school. Or at least have them get replaced with Windows 7 machine...

Re: Where is Windows Vista still being used Today?

To be honest, Windows Vista still being used in public places today would be extremely rare to find, and witness... The following is off-topic, but I did see the Windows XP Taskbar peeking out at a grocery store Point of Sale system at the checkout one time, running the checkout software... I...
