The Windows Wallpaper Wiki, a wiki dedicated to Windows wallpapers

Here is a whole wiki dedicated to Windows wallpapers, https://windowswallpaper.miraheze.org/wiki/Main_Page . It's still in its infancy, so many pages are missing, although I have created pages in as much detail as possible for the most notable wallpapers (such as Bliss, Autumn, 7's default wallpaper...

Re: Project: Windows 2007 - a Vista mod designed to look like Beta 2

Kinda late, but right now it's not being developed. I have lost interest in working on build 6011, plus I'm busy with other things such as college work and a wiki about Windows wallpapers. There is still a chance I/we could resume development at some point in the future though, but only time will te...

Re: Project: Windows 2007 - a Vista mod designed to look like Beta 2

If anyone's curious, this is still in development. Megadeth58 is currently working on build 6010, which has been in development hell for around a month. Re: Project: Windows XP-C

You could say Windows mods in general are kinda useless, given that most people aren't gonna use them in their day-to-day lives and would prefer to use current OSs. Most people would just use them on a VM for fun or maybe even on their nostalgia machines.

Project: Windows 2007 - a Vista mod designed to look like Beta 2

See http://win07.lh11.xyz/index.html (site by lh11, known as UIdesign on this forum) An upcoming mod of Windows Vista Ultimate SP2 that replaces the Aero and Aero Basic themes with versions similar to the ones found in Vista Beta 2. I am working on it alongside a few others. Several others have also...

Re: Windows Longhorn/Vista Beta sounds

Their origins are pretty elusive, even today. While people have claimed that they're official concept sounds that got leaked, I have yet to see legitimate evidence/proof to back those claims up other than them sounding "professional". While I agree with that, there are talented amateur musicians/sou...
