OK VMWare drivers do not support windows XP anymore, they only support 7 and up

You could use CAIRO shell which is a mac-OS looking shell for Vista and up

hey well I've had this idea for a while and so many people told me this wouldn't work. Essentially you would replace the Windows NT 10.0 (Windows 10) kernel and shell wind Windows NT 6.1 (Windows 7) shell and kernel
and see what would happen

I tried something similar (Windows 10 with a windows 7 shell and kernel in windows sandbox (if you don't know what that is its a windows 10 VM completely isolated from the local machine and wipes after restart) but i was stupid enough to restart the VM which sadly, wiped the VM so ill have to try it...

Well i still use it for some software testing cause i found a way to perfectly quarantine it from the local machine
